Ann - I have enjoyed working with the Kavanaugh family in the field of orthodontics for over 20 years. Being a member of the staff has opened many doors for friendship and community involvement. I have always lived in the greater Kansas City area and reside in Kansas City North with my husband of 16 yrs and our 14 year old son. I enjoy absolutely anything having to do with travel, especially to tropical desinations. My husband and I are certified scuba divers and try not to miss an opportunity to dive new sites. I come from a very close family, am even lucky enough to work with my mother in law, and we stay close and actively involved in each others lives.

Rita -I've had the opportunity to work with Dr. Kurt and his great staff for over 2 years. The orthodontic field was new to me but have learned so much from what I now consider my "family". My position as Account Manager involves handling accounts receivable, insurance filing, and numerous miscellaneous functions along with the opportunity to interact with the patients and parents. I have worked in the business world for many years prior to this position. Kansas City North has been my home for 40+ years. My two sons, daughter in law (who I am blessed to be able to work with) and two awsome grandchildren are the joy of my life. I enjoy traveling, community involvment, taking care of my home, warm weather, but mostly spending time with my family and friends.

Tammy - I am an Expanded Functions Certified Orthodontic assistant in the state of Missouri. I have been certified since 2001. Originally from Iowa, but I have lived in the Northland for approximently 20 years. I now reside in Libery. I love having fun with my two daughters, my one adorable grandson, and my one cat. I also enjoy camping, biking and any kind of traveling. Staying close with family and friends is very important to me.

Tonya - I am an Expanded Functions Certified Orthodontic assistant with the state of Missouri. I have been certified since 2004. I have lived in Kansas City most of my life. I am an animal lover with a dog and 2 cats. I love spending time doing anything outdoors like running, biking, camping, and driving around in my Jeep. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Carol - I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Kurt, for the past 29 years. I am currently the Patient Coordinator and a certified Expanded Functions Orthodontics Assistant. It is very rewarding to see the end results “beautiful smiles”. I am married, six children (4 boys, 2 girls) and 2 grandsons who keep me very busy. I love to golf, snow ski, garden, and enjoy traveling to the beaches and mountains. I find donating time to C-3 Missions (a mission established by my brother that provides care for orphans in 3rd world countries) to be most rewarding. My 7 brothers and sisters, co-workers and Golf girls are considered part of my large extended family. I enjoy the holidays and the large gatherings they provide.

Jo Ann - I have worked in orthodontics since 1989. I became certified in Expanded Functions in April 2001. I have 3 beautiful daughters and have been married to a wonderful husband for 26 years. I love to travel, scuba dive, and do anything that involves the ocean or beach. I come from a large family, so I also enjoy our big family gatherings.

Helen - Working in the orthodontic world has been a wonderful adventure and learning experience for me. New to job since July of 2008, I have really enjoyed becoming part of this working family. I have been an Administrative Assistant in education for the last 18 years. born and raised in Lawson MO, I'm still close to my roots. I have 4 children, one girl and 3 boys. 2 Grandchildren, one of which was adopted from China and she has Na Na wrapped around her finger. I love spending time with my family and cooking for everyone. Working and volunteering for Special Needs children and adults is very important to me.

Kelley - I am an Expnded Functions Orthodotic Assistant. I have worked in orthodontics since 2003. I am from Georgia and have lived in Missouri since June of 2008. I am married, we have 1 son and 1 daughter. We also have a family pet dachshund named Sassy. My hobbies are cooking, working in my yard, and spending tme with my family.

Sheila - I started working in orthodontics with the Kavanaugh family in 1995. I am an expanded functions orthodotic assistant in the state of Missouri. What I love about orthodontics is the end result and the confidence it gives each person. Orthodontics changes lives. I enjoy the patient and family relationship that we develop over the time of their treatment. I am married to a wonderful man and have 6 children (3 daughters and 3 sons) and my life is my 3 grandchildren (2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter) I am an animal lover. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. My hobbies are quilting, hunting, motorcycle riding, golfing and traveling. The most important thing to me is spending time with my family and friends.
